A NEW FORM OF INTIMACY

RYDER XX is a Queer Culture Haus exploring intimacy through design, film, and form. We are building a new language for connection.

Queer culture. Engineered form. Sensory design.

RYDER XX is a queer-founded design house exploring intimacy through product, image, film, and culture.

We are interested in the spaces between people: how bodies move together, how design shapes experience, and how thoughtful products can make connection feel more intuitive, considered, and human.

Our work draws from industrial design, fashion, art, and queer culture to create a visual and physical language around intimacy that feels contemporary rather than clinical.

WHO WE ARE

RYDER began with a desire to reconsider the products people bring into their most intimate experiences.

From there, the idea expanded beyond product. We became equally interested in the culture surrounding connection: the artists shaping it, the conversations defining it, and the stories that rarely make it into traditional design spaces.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT DESIGN

DESIGN AS AN ACT OF ATTENTION.

Every decision begins with the experience itself: how something feels, fits, moves, responds, and becomes part of an intimate moment.

We think about design as a form of care. A way of paying close attention to the body, to movement, to material, and to the small details that shape how something is experienced.

Our process brings together industrial design, material exploration, research, testing, and lived queer experience. We learn from the work that has already expanded what intimacy can look like, while bringing our own perspective to the conversation.

RYDER is interested in contributing another point of view, one shaped by the people we are, the relationships we know, and the culture we come from.

The goal is simple: to make thoughtful products that support connection and feel considered in the moments they become part of.

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

PRODUCTS FOR INTIMACY, DESIGNED WITH CARE.

RYDER XX is developing intimate products around the way people move together and the ways connection takes shape between them.

Our first product is currently in development and patent pending. It began with a very personal question about how something could better support closeness without becoming the focus of it.

That question still guides the work.

We are building RYDER slowly, with care, and with a genuine love for the people these products are meant to serve.

CULTURE / QCH BRIDGE

CREATIVITY & SEXUALITY COME FROM THE SAME SOURCE.

At RYDER XX, we see sexuality and creativity as expressions of the same human impulse: the desire to connect, to explore, and to make meaning through experience.

That belief is what naturally led us to QCH,Queer Culture Haus.

QCH is our editorial archive devoted to queer creative culture. Through intimate conversations and portraiture, we document the people making work, shaping culture, and expanding the ways we understand ourselves.

RYDER XX explores intimacy through design. QCH explores it through creativity and conversation.

To us, they have always belonged together.
